On 30 May 2021 by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar. Bihar Chief Minister Child Support Scheme has been initiated. Through this scheme, financial and residential assistance will be provided to those children whose parents have died or one of the parents has died due to corona virus infection. Financial assistance of ₹ 1500 will be provided to all such children till they attain the age of 18 years. Apart from this, all the children who do not have guardians will also be looked after through the Children’s Home.
